The Challenge: Complex deals with long sales cycles.
As the worlds leading video interview platform, HireVue was challenged with putting together complex deals across different vertical markets. Dealing with large companies world-wide meant that there were many stake holders that needed to be communicated with and satisfied, creating long sales cycles. HireVue came to Sendside for a simple solution that they could use immediately to shorten these sales and close deals fast.
HireVue provides organizations a way to perform initial interviews online by video, making the selection process shorter and easier. But with clients in more than 70 countries and across many non-technical industries that hadn't utilized video interviewing to hire before, sales cycles were long and relied on countless follow up emails and phone calls. For HireVue to grow revenue, they needed to effectively communicate HireVue's value proposition to multiple stake holders and be able to respond immediately.
"Once we're able to demonstrate our value proposition to the right individuals we're very successful since we fill an immediate need every HR department has, but without any visibility into when prospects were opening our emails and what they were doing with them our sales force was essentially blind," said Mark Newman, HireVue's CEO. "Our sales team was wasting time on leads who weren't ready and our response timing was hit and miss. The cumulative effect was that our sales cycles were longer than they had to be and it was slowing our growth."
In seeking a way to accelerate sales, HireVue performed due diligence on a host of CRM and marketing automation solutions before selecting Sendside for it's unique sales acceleration solutions and SaaS web based service.
